I knew Maja and I would click the minute we sat down and she was explaining her love of books and quotes. Not the fiction kind (which consists of maybe 2% of my reading) but the non-fiction, inspirational kind. She has one of those business minds and I have a lot of respect for her. She kept the wedding day grounded and chill enough for her and Tom to soak it all in. Her little nephew was a star in his red bowtie and suit. He definitely wasn't camera shy either. I laughed every time I put my lens on him and he would stroll towards me, waving his little hand until I got a couple of frames off. Maja's mom is a wedding cake artist and she created what must have been a masterpiece for this wedding. I can't imagine how she must have felt finally getting to design a cake for her own daughter and not someone elses. As the evening went on, the day started to sink in. Maja began her dance with her Dad and the emotion overcame her. The tears started flowing and I witnessed the warmth of this family's closeness.
