I was a little bit nervous heading towards Carolina's parents' house in Mississauga. I was thinking about how on earth I was going to shoot inside with dark storm clouds blanketing the house. You photographers will know how dark when I say, outside I was at F1.4 1/80 and ISO 1600. When Carolina arrived though she had a giant smile on her face, regardless of the weather. I was optimistic too and was praying the sun would come out and play. I began by shooting her stunning dress! Once she put it on, we traveled back towards the Niagara region for the ceremony at Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria. The couple chose to do family portraits in the Montebello Park and my couple, along with their families were amazing as we shot and dodged the rain. Our next stop was Oak's Theatre by the Falls for the bridal party and my couple. The minute I stepped out of my car, I felt the sun hit my skin. I was excited! I met Carolina and Adrian and I could see they were just as excited as me. They were breeze to shoot! I mean look at how awesome they look!! The whole wedding party rocked it and looked fabulous!
Our last stop was the reception at Heart of Niagara's Parkway. A place close to Adrian's heart :) The decor was extraordinary thanks to Angelica from Simply Beautiful and Pauline from My Bouquet. The dance floor was a polished white, decked out with the couple's initials right in the middle. Once the reception began, I was treated to shooting a greek Pig Dance, which I hadn't had the opportunity to shoot before. It's where the bride and groom are presented with a roasted pig and guests all purchase a piece. The night continued with one of the best best-man speeches of all time and a lot of dancing. Thanks to a bit of luck and and this gorgeous couple, the whole day was a photographer's dream! Below is a list of the vendors involved and my favs. Be sure to leave the couple some love in the comments!
