Wedding Bells Top 25

A Humble Acceptance Speech

I was in Cabo, enjoying the sun and some amazing photographer friends. The wifi was less than ideal but it kept me away from checking my email as regularly as I normally would. When I finally had a chance to check out my digital world, I noticed one from Wedding Bells magazine, which said I had been selected as one of Canada's top 25 Most Inspiring Wedding Photographers! That email made an already amazing week (I'll blog about it later) even better. I'm flattered, humble, honoured, and all sorts of other adjectives. It came as a total shock and I want to thank everyone at Wedding Bells for choosing me to be on the list. From the bottom of my heart, thank you! I also could not have made the list if it were not for one amazing couple, Lori and Ryan. They're just two incredible people and they deserve all the recognition in the world. Congrats to all of the other the photographers who all produced such gorgeous stuff last year. In case you missed the original feature, you can find that here: WeddingBells: Lori & Ryan and my post about Lori & Ryan here: Lori & Ryan's Legends Niagara Wedding

Tyler James

Get to know me...

A stunning girl once asked to "hangout someday". My response was, "I'm not really a next time or someday kind of guy". We've been in love for over two years now.

I believe a romantic image should have as much anticipation as the best, slow, romantic kiss.

I think it's true what they say about dogs mirrorring their owners. My two wiener dogs are quirky, make me laugh constantly and when they're not running around at a full sprint, they're curling up next to me, enjoying my body heat. They don't have short legs, other dogs just have long ones.

Being confined to a couch for 4 years has taught me to never take life's subtleties for granted. I'm always moving, smiling and looking for my next adventure.

I believe the groom is entitled to his own pair of designer shoes.

I'm happiest with my camera in hand capturing a sun soaked couple together chasing down the sunset.
